Less is More

Hi Everyone,

While surfing through the Operation Write Home blog hop I found this hop that is perfect for the cards that I make, the Less is Moore and they are having a “Less is More” challenge, featuring pastels, which are also my favorite–especially at this time of the year. So give them a look, they have lots of great cards in their contest.

Here is the card I am submitting. The flowers are from My Time Made Easy I love their stamps. I used the sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s Delightful Dalia stamp set and the paper and ink is from Stampin Up. The bow is from Michael’s.

Mother’s Day and Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone,

I have a few new cards today–mostly Mothers Day and birthday cards. It’s been fun to work with spring colors these days. It seems winter just keeps dragging on–thirty some more days until it should be over. So here they are:

Yellow Love You Card

Hi Everyone,
This is a really quick card to make using PaperTrey Ink lemon tart polka dot paper, matching card stock and ink. The design is from My Time Made Easy. I used the SU 5-petal punch to cut out the flower, and then used pop dots to place it on the card. I’ll probably make a few more of these in differnt colors.

Enjoy!

Flourishes Cards

Hi Everyone,

Here are two cards I made using the stamps from My Time Made Easy. I love their stamps, and now I can cut out the flowers first using their cutter designs, then stamp them using different colors. It’s such a nice idea, and a great time saver.

I used Apricot Appeal from SU! and Spring Rain from Paper Trey to decorate these. And, of course, other than the sentiments, which are from SU!, the stamps are from My Time Made Easy. I just love these cards, and hope the heroes who send them love them just as much.

Here’s another one that I made using So Saffron from SU and Old Olive for the greeting. You will notice there is no bow on this one, but the flower is two layers, and popped up using pop dots.

Purple/Green Thought Card

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was a really busy day with the OWH Bloghop. I made it through about 80% of the blogs, and plan on finishing the rest this evening. There were some sites I ended up spending way too much time on, checking out everything they’ve posted recently.

It’s also been so nice to get so many great comments. Thank you to all who took the time to say such nice things.

For some reason, I was in the mood today for a card that was cheerful and elegant, all at the same time. Usually the color combination of purple and green fits that description. I ended making quite a few of these already today–I think about 18 so far. I also love the way the stamps from My Time Made Easy stamp. That’s where the flourish and flowers are from.

I used SU! Old Olive ink and cardstock, and Lavender Lace ink. The sentiment is from SU!’s most recent sentiments, and the ribbon is from Michael’s.
