New Purple Bow

Hi Everyone,

When I got home from work the other day, I went to Becca’s site and saw the neatest bow maker. She makes such beautiful bows, and now she uses a bow maker that she designed. So I immediately gave DH the task of making me one. Here’s my first attempt at making a bow using my new bow maker:

The flowers are Beautiful Blooms from Papertrey Ink. The nice thing is that I have the dies that cut the shapes, then stamp the flower on the cut cardstock. Makes it super easy.

Mother’s Day and Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone,

I have a few new cards today–mostly Mothers Day and birthday cards. It’s been fun to work with spring colors these days. It seems winter just keeps dragging on–thirty some more days until it should be over. So here they are:

Snowflake Card

Hi Everyone,
Here is a really cute winter card–it captures the mood of most of the country, as we are buried in snow day after day. I’m one of the lucky ones who likes snow, so it’s okay with me.

This card uses Papertrey Ink’s Snowfall stamp for the snowflakes, Spring Rain (Papertrey Ink) cardstock, and the matching polka dot ribbon. Papertrey Ink’s ribbon is so nice to work with–love it! I got the sentiment from a pillow, so I typed it into Word and printed it out. No stamp has that saying that I know of.

Enjoy!

Purple Green Thought Card

Hi Everyone,

More purple and green again today, although the shades are definitely different. The purple is more like a periwinkle, and the green is a deep olive. Still one of my favorite color combinations.

Hi Everyone,

The floral paper is from a book that had lots of patterns in it from PaperWishes. It just happened to be the right colors for today. The sentiment is from SU! and the ribbon is a dark olive from Michaels.
